What seems unusual (to me) about this Lux ad (from early 1970s) that Lux is known to have established actresses (and also an actor) as the face in their ads. Zaheeda was at best a starlet and never actually made it to the big league.

Though her face seems familiar, the name didn’t exactly ring a bell. Zaheeda Hussain (also spelt Zahida) appeared in only a handful of Bollywood films, of which two were opposite Dev Anand – Prem Pujari (1970) and Gambler (1971). She also happens to be the niece of Nargis Dutt.

According to her bio on IMDB, she married Kesri Nandan Sahay and has two sons.
